MBBS Scholarship in Ningxia Medical University
Ningxia Medical University (NXMU) offers Freshmen Scholarship for international students applying for MBBS (English-taught) Program on Self-finance. One-time Scholarship distribution based on the ranking of the attendance, behavior, Curricular, and Extracurricular activities.
Ningxia Medical University Freshmen Scholarship is 15,000 RMB, given to the Top 30% of students from MBBS & Pharmacy Fresh students. Ningxia Medical University provides a variety of scholarships for international students, including:

2026 Admission Requirements:
International Students interested in applying for the Medicine Program (MBBS) in English Medium must follow the following admission requirements.
- Foreign Students must have a minimum of 60% of Marks in Senior High School/WAEC/A-Levels/HSSC.
- Students must be under the age of 25.
- Students must be fluent in English.
- As the teaching Medium is English, IELTS or TOEFL are not required.
- The school can conduct an online interview. Following a successful interview, the school will issue an acceptance letter.
MBBS Fees (English Taught) for International Students March 2026
Tuition Fees must be paid directly in the Ningxia Medical University account in Chinese Yuan (RMB). Students are required to pay the Application Fee and Admission service fee to the assigned admission agency facilitating their application procedure.

According to the new policy set by the Chinese Ministry of Education, all International students will do internships (6th year) in China at the First affiliated hospital of Ningxia Medical University. Students will pay Half of the tuition fee of 14,900 RMB for an internship at Ningxia Medical University. Medical Students are not allowed to do internships outside of China.
- The Fee must be paid in Chinese Yuan (RMB) or according to the conversion rate of RMB/USD.
- Hostel rooms will be allocated according to availability, with a double room priced at 5000 RMB and a triple room at 4000 RMB annually.
- The fee Once Paid will not be refunded.
- The school will refund the fee if the student doesn’t get the visa from the embassy, and it will be a 100% refund.
- The Admission Service fee (Decided) will be paid by the Student to the Admission Consulting Company before their arrival.
- Students will pay the 2nd year’s Fee in August 2027 or according to the policy of the Ningxia Medical School.
- Food Expenses, Air Tickets, Books, and Stationary Charges are not included in the above fee details.
- Students will follow the rules and regulations of the Ministry of Education China (MOE), and Ningxia Medical University.
