School of Pharmacy:
The School of Pharmacy of Ningxia Medical University originated from the pharmacy major of Ningxia Health School in 1935 and began to recruit postgraduates in pharmacology in 1986. In 2011, it was approved to confer the master’s degree in the first-level discipline of pharmacy, and now has 6 master’s degree authorization points. There are two undergraduate majors in pharmacy and Chinese pharmacy.
There are teaching and research sections of pharmacology, pharmacy, drug analysis, medicinal chemistry, pharmacognosy, clinical pharmacy, pharmaceutical affairs management and law, and a pharmacy teaching and experiment center. Pharmacology, pharmacognosy, and pharmacy are the dominant disciplines of the school. The pharmacy teaching and experiment center has complete hardware facilities and advanced experimental instruments, providing a good experimental environment for teaching and scientific research of pharmacy and Chinese pharmacy.

Ningxia Medical University (NXMU) offers a Ningxia Government Scholarship of 15,000 RMB to Pharmacy Students (For 1st year only). The actual tuition fee of the Pharmacy Program is 20,000 RMB/year but after Scholarship, it will be 5000 RMB (for 1st year). The school will clearly mention the Pharmacy Scholarship on the acceptance letter.
- Age limit is 16-25 years.
- Students must be fluent in English.
- Student must have a minimum of 60% of Marks in HSSC (FSC Pre-Medical) or in WAEC/A-Levels/Grade 12.
All fees must be paid in Chinese Yuan (RMB) upon arrival at the University, Management & Service fee is the administrative and management charges of the Consultant for the case presentation and are legal charges for managing the case to Ningxia Medical University.
